I think this is a Briggs and Stratton horizontal shaft motor. It looks like it was painted at some point, and the ID tag is painted over. I didn't see anything on the motor that said it was a Briggs, but it looks like one. It was a water pump, and I think it came off of a fire truck. The impeller for the pump is there, but the rest of the pump is gone. I can't tell what size or model it is. If I guessed, I would say 3 to 5 horsepower, but I really have no idea. It turns freely. I have had it sitting in the barn for several years, and I don't know if I ever had it running. Sold as-is.
